The students and staff of Wairoa School arrived at school on Monday 27th November to see a beautiful new garden down the side of the school. What a difference!
The volunteers from Edwards Lifesciences arrived early on Friday morning and began work. There were garden edges being built, weeds removed, plants planted, lawns mowed and a general tidy up happening. These wonderful volunteers worked hard all day on Friday and then returned to finish the job on Saturday.
Thank you so much to Patrick and his team for the time and effort they gave to Wairoa School. It is greatly appreciated by the students, families and staff and will definitely be a wonderful new learning area in our school.
