About our school

As a School for Specific Purpose (SSP), we are committed to delivering high-quality education and support for students with moderate to high support needs. Our school provides a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every student is valued and supported to achieve their full potential.

Wairoa School currently operates 11 classes catering from kindergarten to year 12. We provide tailored educational programs for students with a range of support requirements, including:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Challenging behaviour
• Sensory impairments
• Complex medical and health conditions.
